Quality Wigs for Hair Loss
Losing your hair can be a very distressing experience, and many women, in particular, choose to wear a wig to boost their confidence and self-esteem if they suffer hair loss.
There are a number of medical conditions which cause hair loss, including cancer and alopecia. We have worked with many clients with these and other conditions, and we understand that it can be an emotional and sensitive time. We also appreciate that there can be different considerations for someone looking for a wig to hide hair loss, as opposed to someone looking for a wig as a fashion statement. Most clients with hair loss are looking for a very natural-looking wig, usually to replicate their own hair. Some clients, however, go for a complete change and their new image plays a big part in rebuilding their confidence.
1-to-1 Advice and Support
When we meet a client with hair loss, we spend time with them discussing the look that they want to achieve. For clients looking for a change to their own hair colour and/or style, we can advise on the best options to suit their face shape and skin tone, just as a hairdresser would. The chosen wig is fitted and, where appropriate, cut and styled to achieve the client’s desired look.
Some clients have a sensitive scalp after losing their hair, and again we take this into account when choosing and fitting their wig.
Full advice is given on how to care for your wig, and we stock a full range of after-care accessories including wig shampoos, wig combs, wig stands, and wig tape.
